     Why do we assess?
     
    Simply put, we assess to GATHER INFORMATION. The information gathered helps members of the teaching community to make important decisions about the children they teach.
     
    Who takes the NJSLA Assessment?
     
    ALL students in grades 3-8 are required by New Jersey State Code to take the NJSLA assessment.
