I am thrilled to be teaching your children 6th Grade Math this year. I have taught in the Long Branch School District for 30+ years and possess a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and Special Education Certification.
I will be expecting nothing less than students' best efforts in class as we cover a variety of topics ranging from basic facts to solving equations with variables. Students will be treated fairly and with compassion, and I will make sure they treat others the same way.
Math is exciting and challenging at the same time. We will be working on improving individual student math skills, as well as working on the New Jersey State Standards. At times, your children may be struggling with a certain concept, but be assured, I will work with them until they feel comfortable and able to complete the work.
I encourage you to be your children's cheerleaders. They love to hear "You can do it!", and "I have faith in you!" I will do the same in school and, together, we will help them be the best students they can be!
