• Welcome To My Online Classroom
    Name: Jennifer Marlin
    School: Long Branch Middle School
    Class/Grade: Room 2085/Seventh Grade
I am a Seventh-grade teacher in the Long Branch Middle School.  I have been teaching in Long Branch since 2000.  I received my B.A from Glassboro State College/Rowan University and then obtained my Master's Degree from Georgian Court University.  It is my goal to have all my students feel comfortable and confident throughout there learning experience and be successful in all endeavors.  If I can be of any assistance throughout the school year, please do not hesitate to contact me.  My email is jmarlin@longbranch.k12.nj.us or call the LB Middle school at 732.229-5533.
If a student is absent, please check my Website for a list of homework assignments.  Students must hand in all assignments that they've missed in a timely manner. *See directions below
Please check your child's planner on a daily basis.  They will be responsible to record daily homework assignments, test grades and upcoming events in their planners.
Tests will not be sent home.  They will be posted in their planners to be signed.

MISSED WORK/TESTS: We all miss work. When this happens, you must assume two things.

                   1. I missed work.

                   2. I must make it up.

Please copy down the H.W. assignments that you missed in your notebook/planner. I will have all the worksheets that are needed posted on the Homework tab of my Teacher page.

                                    ****Missed Tests/Quizzes*****

If you miss a quiz(or the announcement for one), you must see me the FIRST DAY you return to schedule a makeup. This is your responsibility. Failure to take a makeup within one week will result in a zero (unless we make other plans).

IF YOU ARE ABSENT: Homework must be made up within the next day. It is your responsibility to find out what you missed and get the work from my teacher page.

Broken Printers: Yes, my printer breaks too. When this happens, e-mail your assignment to me OR write out your answer in your notebook.

Broken Computer: A broken computer is an entirely different matter from a broken printer.  When this occurs, simply write your assignment by hand.

NO Internet Access: Please let me know if you are not able to access a computer. I will make sure that you have a printed copy of the story we are currently working on.
