The 2023-2024 school year marks my fourth as a teacher in the Long Branch School District after beginning my educational career for three years in Keansburg, NJ.  I grew up in the Long Branch area, so it has brought me great joy to be back here serving our community.  I was a graduate of The Marine Academy of Science & Technology on Sandy Hook, after which I went to Colorado State University to pursue a degree in Health & Exercise Science, where I also played football.  After graduating from college, I spent almost fifteen years working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach around the country, applying my knowledge of science in helping athletes perform at their peak.  

In the summer of 2017, I relocated back home so my son and I could be closer to family.  I also made the choice to change careers, completing the Alternate Route Teacher Certification Program through Monmouth University.  During this time I also obtained a Master's Degree in Sport Psychology from Pennsylvania Western University.  I absolutely love having the opportunity to open up young minds to the possibilities science has to offer, so I look forward to helping your child ignite their spark of curiosity!
