    ATTENTION Parents and Students:

While at home over the next couple of weeks, it is very important that you and your child are checking google classroom or the Remind app DAILY.

Every week I will be unlocking three REQUIRED assignments on Big Ideas for your child to complete. The required assignments are based on information your child has already been taught (chapters 1-5).

I will unlock three optional assignments per week on Big Ideas as well. The optional assignments are based on new information your child would be learning if we were still physically in school. I encourage your child to try the optional assignments as it will only benefit them.

If your child does not know his or her username or password for Big Ideas, please contact me on google classroom, Remind, or by email so I can provide you with that information. If your child prefers to do his or her math work on paper, there are pdf copies of each assignment. Students are responsible for completing all REQUIRED assignments.

Remind access codes are as follows:

    • Block 1/2: @1olsen2

    • Block 3/4: @3olsen4

    • Block 7/8: @7olsen8

Google Classroom access codes are as follows:

    • Block 1/2: 7he3qhg

    • Block 3/4: dvws5wc

    • Block 7/8: pwjcwxf

**Parents: please feel free to join Remind and google classroom yourself as I post updates and reminders for your children on these two platforms daily. Just please indicate who your child is if you join the Remind app so I can make sure you are a part of the correct group.**

The attachment below contains additional math resources that you and our child may find useful while school is closed. There are links to math game websites, as well as, websites that will help your child master math skills they have already been taught thus far in my class. There are also resources included that will allow for their own personal exploration if they would like to learn a new topic that I have not taught yet.
