Welcome back to an exciting school year!

My name is Mr. Payne, your Social Studies teacher. I am looking forward to a great year!

This year, we will be covering United States History. We will talk about the country we live in from its beginnings up through the Civil War. 

We will be using Google Classroom this year. Anything we do in class will be posted there, as well. Parents and guardians, I can add an email address to Google Classroom as well so that you can receive updates on your child's progress each week!

I grew up in Manahawkin and went to school at Southern Regional.

When I graduated, I went to Ramapo College of New Jersey to get a Bachelor's Degree in History.

After Ramapo, I returned home and earned my certifications to teach through Georgian Court University.

I have been teaching since 2017, however I started here at Long Branch in 2021.
