Hello, and welcome to my online band room! All students in grades 3 through 5 are invited to join the GLC Band program! Students will have the opportunity to learn how to play an instrument and read music! All students will receive one pull-out lesson a week during the school day. Band instruments can be rented from NEMC.com. More information about joining the band program and obtaining an instrument will be sent home during the month of September.

Students are encouraged to practice daily at home for a minimum time of 20 minutes each day to ensure they can understand and play all materials that were taught during their lesson for the week.

Please visit my teacher page frequently for all updates and upcoming events that will be on the "Upcoming Events" page and announced at the top of my homepage, as well as on the following social media accounts listed below.

The GLC Band has made great progress last year as a whole! Year 2 was a success! The program continues to grow with new faces, all performances went extremely well, and the commitment of extra practicing is increasing! I am very excited to see more performance opportunities for the GLC Band this year. I look forward to working with your children for the 2019-2020 school year!! :)
