    All students will have access to my Google Classroom in September. The topics in this course include, but are not limited to:

    Structure and properties of matter (including at the subatomic level)

    Trends and elements' positions on the periodic table

    Chemical bonding (ionic, covalent, metallic)

    2D and 3D molecular models

    Stoichiometry (which involves math, but is analogous in many ways to cooking)

    Types of chemical reactions

    Acid/base theory

    Gas laws

    Mathematical and other scientific topics will be explored as well, to prepare students for future courses.
