    Katherine Walsifer, formerly known as Miss Koar teaches in the School to Work Program at Long Branch Historic High School.  This is her 13th year teaching in the Long Branch School District. She has taught MCI-SC for 7 years and taught 3rd grade LD for 4 years at Amerigo A. Anastasia Elementary School. She is now in her 2nd year teaching in the School to Work Program at the high school. She received her degrees at Georgian Court University in Psychology and Education with certifications in Teacher of the Handicapped and Students with Disabilities. Currently, she is working with 18-21 year old transitional students on their life and social skills at the historical high school. Mrs. Walsifer  is a supporter of all students and the long branch school district.
