I became a chemistry teacher at LBHS in October 2023, but I served as a substitute in the district for several years. I have taught math (pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, precalculus, and calculus) in other districts and at Brookdale Community College, and physics labs at Georgian Court University and Ocean County College.
I attended what is now Donovan Catholic in Toms River, then attained a bachelor's in physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). I also have master's degrees in physics and mathematics from Stevens Institute of Technology.
I have many interests beyond STEM; they include writing, local history, and writing about local history. I also enjoy competing in various quizzing/trivia events. I finished just outside the top 10% (and 5th in the New Jersey division) in the 2021 American Crossword Puzzle Tournament and have been an active member of LearnedLeague since 2015.
