
Mrs. Moniz has been teaching since 1996, with extensive experience both in Portugal and the United States. She is a graduate of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Portugal, where she earned her B.A. in Portuguese and French. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education – Cognitive-Motor Domain from the same institution. In addition, Mrs. Moniz is fluent in Portuguese, French, Spanish, and English.
Before joining the Long Branch community, Mrs. Moniz taught Portuguese and coordinated cycles of students at Colégio Conciliar de Maria Imaculada in Leiria, Portugal, where she also served as a Cycle Coordinator for four years. She has also taught at the Official State School of Peniche. For the past seven years, Mrs. Moniz has been teaching Portuguese at the Portuguese Club of Long Branch.
