Welcome to Spanish class!

Mrs. Newman is very excited to have your child as a student in her Spanish class this year.

Your child will refer to her as “Señora Newman.” She was born and raised in Long Branch, NJ.  Mrs. Newman is a

graduate of Long Branch High School, Class of 1997 and a graduate of Monmouth University, Class of 2003.

She earned her B.A. in Elementary Education and Spanish Education. She is a highly qualified teacher who has been

teaching for twenty-one years.

Mrs. Newman received District Employee of the month for November 2010, as well as

Teacher of the Year for Gregory in 2010-2011.

Teacher of the Year for Gregory 2017-2018.

She is currently teaching Spanish at Gregory School and the Lenna Conrow School.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
