Hello and welcome!!! My name is Stephanie Sniffen, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. I have been teaching in the Long Branch Public Schools since 2006. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Georgian Court University. I am certified in both special education and elementary education. I have been awarded Teacher of the Month at both the Amerigo A. Anastasia School and the George L. Catrambone School. I have also been awarded Teacher of the Year for the 2015-2016 school year at the George L. Catrambone School. My teaching philosophy is Children learn what they live! I strive to be a positive, supportive, and enthusiastic teacher who motivates and encourages students every day.
I grew up in West Long Branch and graduated from Shore Regional High School. When I was younger, I danced competitively and played tennis. I learned how to play the flute in elementary school, and the alto saxophone in high school. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, going for walks, bike rides, and traveling.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me through Class Dojo. You could also e-mail me at ssniffen@longbranch.k12.nj.us. I will get back to you as soon as I can. I am looking forward to a great school year!
