You may click on the student handbook to review any policies to ensure we are all on the same page to help your child meet success this year.I began my teaching career in the West End School where I completed my student teaching in the fall of 1997. Then, I was a substitute teacher in the district and I took over a first grade class in Lenna Conrow School and was hired full time in May of 1998. While teaching first grade at Lenna Conrow, I earned the Teacher of the Year award. During my teaching career, I took some time off to have my children. I returned from my second maternity leave to the Anastasia School as the Student Advisor for gradespk-2. I was the advisor for two years and then moved into second grade as the in-class support teacher for 7 years. I have also taught in fourth, fifth and first grades to provide in-class support for students. I am very excited to be back in my own classroom teaching a fourth grade self contained class. I encourage all parents to sign up for Class Dojo as a great way to be kept up to date on events and activities in our class. I look forward to having a wonderful year teaching our students.
You can always help your child with math facts by having them say their facts in the car or count by playing a card a game. There will be Study Links and possibly Skills Links sent home to reinforce skills taught in class.
