Mrs.Herrera graduated from William Paterson University in 2004, and later recieved her P-3 Certificate, alternate route, through Monmouth University, and her K-5 certificate in 2008. First teaching in the district of Asbury Park for four years, and later coming to the district of Long Branch in 2008 till present day has provided her with a multitude of memorable experiences. While in Long Branch, Mrs. Herrera has had the opportunity of piloting the Dual Language Program, as well as working with the adults in the community, teaching English to adults, in the Bilingual Adult classes provided by the BOE of Long Branch.
Working in a district "Where Children Matter Most", has provided Mrs. Herrera the chance of growing personally and professionally, keeping the most important goal in mind, in helping her students reach their highest potential.
