Meet Mrs. Martin
Hello, everyone! I’m Mrs. Martin and I am very honored and proud to be able to say that this is my 20th year teaching in the Long Branch School district. Educating children is my passion and I absolutely love what I do. I cannot imagine myself having any other career outside of education. I knew I wanted to be a teacher at a very young age and ended up majoring in Elementary Education at the University of Delaware as an undergrad. I also continued my education and got my Master's degree.
When I am not teaching I can usually be found spending time with friends and family. I love chasing around my 8-year-old twin nephews whenever possible and always look forward to visiting with them. In my free time I also run, bike, and swim regularly. I enjoy competing in triathlons, duathlons, and other runs that raise money for the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Research, and other organizations near and dear to my heart.
I am confident that this is going to be a great school year and look forward to watching my students grow and learn as the year progresses. I truly believe that all children can learn and be successful; they just need to have the confidence in themselves and support that they need. I am here to prepare, guide, and support your children in any way that I can in order for them to be successful. So please feel free to contact me at Anastasia School: (732)571-3396 or you can email me: cmartin@longbranch.k12.nj.us.
Let's have a great year!
