• CREDIT REIMBURSEMENT

    Please review the above policy link if you are submitting it for credit reimbursement. 

    The current policy will affect all employees who are applying for new programs.

    STEP 1:

    Complete and submit the Graduate/Undergraduate Credit Reimbursement form on your Frontline Central account for the semester timelines listed below: 

    Course Approval submission timelines:

    Summer Semester by May 1

    Fall Semester by August 1

    Spring Semester by December 1

    Please note that this form has a multistep workflow-level approval process. Once your form has been fully approved, a notification from Frontline Central will be sent to your email. 

    Tuition Reimbursement submission timelines:

    Summer Semester by September 1

    Fall Semester by February 1

    Spring Semester by June 15

    Please note that all tuition reimbursement submissions must be submitted to the Office of Personnel by the semester timelines listed above. 
     
    Only coursework submitted from a fully accredited university will be accepted. 
     

    ♦ LBSEA ♦ The Board shall reimburse all members for eighty-five (85%) percent of the average state college cost of tuition up to a maximum of six (6) college/graduate credits completed between July 1 -June 30 of a given school year. 

    ♦ LBFT ♦ The Board shall reimburse all members for eighty-five (85%) percent of the average state college cost of tuition up to a maximum of nine (9) college credits completed between July 1 - June 30 of a given school year.

    ♦ LBSCA ♦ The Board shall reimburse administrators for eighty-five (85%) percent of the average state college cost of tuition for graduate courses up to a maximum of nine (9) credits per school year.

    ♦ LBPDA ♦ The Board shall reimburse administrators for eighty-five (85%) percent of the average state college cost of tuition for graduate courses up to a maximum of nine (9) credits per school year. Additional credits may be taken with the approval of the Superintendent but should not exceed twelve (12) credits in a fiscal year.

    * Monetary credit reimbursements for a course beginning in June of an existing school year will be counted in the school year budget in which it is completed. Example: Calendar years for a course taken from June 1, 2024, ending on August 14, 2024, will count as credit for the 24-25 school year.

    Please fill out the Change of Salary Guide form on your Frontline Central account and send official paper or electronic transcripts to:

    The Office of Personnel will review your request to move up using the teacher's salary guide. Once reviewed and approved, your move-on guide will be board-approved on a monthly Agenda. The increase will be effective on the 1st of the following month.
