    Hi, my name is Joe Simon.  I am a Physical Education/Health teacher.  I have been working for the Long Branch School district for the past 25 years.  I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sports Science.  I have been at SHAW for 7 years and I love teaching here.

    Goals For 2024/2025
     
     
    1.  Get acclimated to P.E. rules and procedures and learn about who are classmates are.
     
    2. Have a personal goal of something to accomplish during school year.
     
    3. Learn from curriculum and do our best to have great attendance.
     
     
     
     
     
     
    Topics-Character and self esteem, male and female reproduction, STD's, Pregnancy, Alcohol, Drugs, Nutrition, Decision Making, Drivers Ed.
     
     PE Activities-Weight room at LEAST once a week, fitness games to elevate heart rate, individual and team sports.
