     Welcome to ELA grades K-3!

    Hi everyone!  My name is Jane Hough and I have been teaching for 22 years.  This is my 8th year at SHAW and I love every bit of it.  Teaching foundational reading skills is my passion, so your students are in good hands.  I use many different resources in the ELA classroom. Currently, we use Scholastic Literacy, Orton Gillingham and the Wilson Reading System.  I believe all my students can be successful learners, they just need the right combination of resources and instructional methods.
