• Ms. Cale's Fourth Grade Class

It must be remembered that the purpose of education is not to fill the minds of students with facts... it is to teach them to think, if that is possible, and always to think for themselves.'

Welcome to another exciting year at the George L. Catrambone School! I’m so thrilled to be your child’s Fourth Grade Teacher. As the year begins, I will learn more about your child, but let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born in Portugal and came to America when I was only four years old. I attended Elberon School for K-2 (which is now the GLC School), old Anastasia (which is now Morris Ave) for 3-5, Long Branch Middle School and High School. I graduated from Georgian Court University and speak three fluent languages: English, Portuguese, and Spanish.  In May of 2021, I graduated from Georgian Court University with a Master's Degree in English as a Second Language.  This is my 19th year teaching. I taught Spanish for a year for the Jackson School District before teaching in Long Branch. I taught Spanish half a year at the West End School and taught ESL the other half a year at Audrey W. Clark. I have a 11 year old son and a 8 year old daughter. My hobbies outside of school are playing with my son and daughter, spending time with the whole family, walking the boardwalk, working out, being with friends, and watching movies.  If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to send in a note with your child or message me on class dojo.

    Thank you!
