Hi! My name is Samantha Gallo and I am looking forward to being your child's pre-k teacher! I was hired to teach in the Long Branch School District after completing my student teaching in Long Branch and graduating from college. I graduated from Monmouth University with my bachelor of arts in Education and Anthropology. This is my 14th year teaching pre-k! I love teaching pre-k because I enjoy being able to make their first experience in school a happy, successful, and safe one! I cherish the relationships I've built with my students and their families!
When I am not at school, I am spending time with my family and friends, and going to the beach. Aside from teaching, I spend a lot of my time coaching in the district. Since being hired, I have coached MS girls soccer and MS girls softball.
I love teaching the children to enjoy learning, being independent, realize what makes them happy, and to become independent thinkers.
To get to know me better, here are some of my favorite things:
Color- Blue
Number- 22
Food- Steak
Sports- Baseball (Orioles!)
Children's books- Dr. Suess (of course!) and Berenstain Bears
