    PLTW Launch

    Hello GLC Students!

I hope that you and your family are doing well. Hope you are ready for the district's new digital experience! Ms. Stone and I look forward to seeing you online and have adapted our PLTW classes to our new environment. Although not all activities will be the same, we are going to ensure that that you can do something similiar!  We are going to keep those STEM minds sharp and ready for when we are all together again!! There are extra activities you can do at home with your family and they are centrally located on Ms. Stone's webpage.  Also, I would love to see whatever extra activities you complete.  Email me at lroesch@longbranch.k12.nj.us and share your thoughts, projects, and videos.  If you have any questions I am here to help. Here is the link to our HOME BASED LEARNING ACTIVITIES:

    Welcome!

YEAR 7! I'm so excited  to be back and for what's to come in GLC's magnet program - Project Lead The Way Launch! This year will be different, BUT we are still learing and we will still have fun! Every year more amazing work, projects and ideas come from the students. Our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) class will continue to challenge the students with even more new and exciting modules. With six years of the program behind them, I know our older students will surpass my expectations as they continue to solve real world problems! Creating, building, testing and evaluating solutions are second nature to them now. Students new to the program and GLC are going to experience a new, fun way of learning! Get those thinkng caps back on and be prepared for another awesome year!
