Dear Families,Welcome to a new school year! I am Ms. Riggi and will be your child's teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. Joining me will be Ms. Sciarappa, who is the classroom assistant. We are super excited for a brand new school year with your child. My room# is 12 and my phone extension is 48112 if you need to call the room. Throughout this year we will be learning about different themes and roles that students can have. Children will also be learning their shapes, identifying numbers 1-10, learning their colors and names, following directions and using good manners. Melissa Riggi
My name is Melissa Riggi and I have been teaching preschool in Long Branch for 14 years. I absolutely love my job and working with children. I especially love preschool, because you are able to see them grow and progress so much over the years. I grew up in Long Branch and attended Monmouth University where I obtained my Bachelors of Science Degree in Education. I then attended Montclair University where I recieved my p-3 endorsement. I love to travel, especially to the mountains and I also love the beach. I am very close with my family and I enjoy spending time with my friends. My favorite season is the fall and my favorite sports team is the NY Giants.
