"Welcome to my webpage". In Physical Education we stress active participation throughout the entire pe curriculum. In addition to that, we concentrate on good sportsmanship, appropriate social skills and of course physical fitness. We have fitness days each week to promote good physical health, as well as activity days where we learn and practice a variety of skills that can be applied when participating in games. When it comes to health we will examine ways to keep ourselves physically and emotionally healthy that will continue throughout our lives.
AT HOME PHSICAL EDUCATION ASSIGNMENT
Good afternoon everyone! I hope this message finds you healthy and happy during this crazy time. I wanted to reach out to let everyone know that I am available via email. if you need anything. Don't hesitate to reach out. As far as your PE assignment goes, be creative, take some ownership and have fun! 30 minutes of exercise/activity can look different for everybody.
Students should complete 30 minutes of exercise daily, at home. This should be logged daily. Further, once you have logged the exercises completed, write a brief reflection on the exercise and how it compares to what you complete in class with your teachers. Here are a few suggestions:
1. Go for a run
2. Go for a bike ride
3. Shoot a basketball
4. Do a "youtube" fitness class like yoga, zumba, Pilates or anything that interests you.
5. Do a push-up and sit-up circuit
These are just a few ideas but the possibilities are endless!
