Long Branch High School
Math Teacher-LDR Academy
Since graduating from Georgian Court University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Special Education, I have been employed as an educator in the Long Branch School District for the past 18 years.
Prior to attaining an education degree, I received certification as a Registered Nurse where
I worked in both the Intensive and Coronary Care Units. Maintaining my nursing career part-time,
I was hired by a major airline where I held positions of flight attendant,
in-flight supervisor, recruiter, hiring manager and marketing director.
I began my career with the Long Branch Public School System in November of 1999.
I taught Math, Science, and Language Arts at the Long Branch Middle School until June of 2008.
In September of 2008, I transferred to the Long Branch High School
and have taught Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II.
From September of 2011 until June of 2014, I held a math facilitator position
as well as teach Algebra, Algebra Lab, Geometry and Algebra II.
Currently, I am teaching Geometry, Algebra I, and Algebra II.
I am also a practicing Registered Nurse.
