• Hello! I am Ms. Colleen Alcott! I have a Bachelor's in Social Work from Monmouth University and a Master's in Library Science from Drexel University. I have been part of the Long Branch Public School family since 2002.

I have lived in Long Branch my entire life and feel a strong connection to our town. In the library, each student is welcomed with a smile. They love to come in during their lunch periods, with a class, or after school. I am always available to help them in whatever they need- from finding reliable sources for a project/paper or finding a new book to read. I have computers to use and allow them to print any classwork they need to.

As a Donors Choose Ambassador, I have had many projects funded and am able to supply students with new books, school supplies, uniforms, games, snacks, and more! It is an amazing place for public school teachers to secure resources through donations.

In my spare time, I love to spend it with my four children (all graduates of LBHS!), extended family, and dogs.

I wish for all of us to have a safe school year!
