Hall of Fame

Purpose

Alumni (graduated at least 10 years ago)

Regardless of achievements, all nominees must exemplify:

Integrity, ethical conduct, and respect for others
Positive contributions to school and/or community life
No major academic, athletic, or legal violations that would reflect negatively on the school

The selection committee reserves the right to defer or decline a nomination based on concerns related to character or conduct.

A nominee must have graduated from the LBHS a minimum of 10 years prior to the nomination.
Nominations for the Academic Hall of Fame may be made for anyone living or deceased in the following categories:
- Medicine and Science: Surgeons, specialists, general practitioners, scientists and recipients of special awards.
- Business and Professional: Economists, CEOs, successful business persons, legal professionals.
- Humanities: Published writers, educators, those who have exemplary achievements in art, music, drama, and journalism.
- Humanitarian and Service: Those who have rendered significant services to local, state, national or world communities.
- Lifetime Recognition: This category is reserved for an individual whose life demonstrates high moral character and dignity, or who have demonstrated courage in overcoming extraordinary obstacles in life.

A nominee must have graduated from the LBHS a minimum of 10 years prior to the nomination.
Must have earned at least 2 varsity letters.
Nominations for the Athletic Hall of Fame may be made for anyone living or deceased in the following categories:
- Individual achievements: school records, all-conference, all-state, MVP awards, national rankings.
- Team achievements: state championships, historic seasons.
- Post-high school athletic accomplishments: collegiate, professional, or Olympic participation.
- Leadership and sportsmanship: team captaincy, mentorship, upholding school spirit.
- Coaching or mentoring excellence: program development, championships, fostering athlete growth.
