Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Bissey

I  started my career at Long Branch Middle School in December of 2018 as an In-Classroom Support teacher. This role allowed me the opportunity to provide differentiation across the various content areas for Special Education students. In 2019, I changed positions. I am now a 7th grade Special Education Social Studies teacher.

Prior to transferring to Long Branch Public Schools, I worked as a Special Education Social Studies teacher in alternate education for at-risk youth in Trenton. This has allowed me to really develop and manage my classroom, to promote safety, social norms, and develop a rapport with my students.

In addition to teaching, I serve as an advisor for the award-winning debate team.

I am a proud graduate of Kean University with a double major in History and Education with a Teacher of Students with Disabilities endorsement. I also have my masters in Educational Leadership from William Paterson University.
