This role allowed me the opportunity to provide differentation across the various content areas to Special Education students. In 2019, I changed positions. I am now the 7th grade Special Education Social Studies teacher.
Prior to transfering to Long Branch Public Schools, I worked as a Special Education Social Studies teacher in alternate education for at-risk youth in Trenton. This has allowed me to really develop and manage my classroom to promote safety, social norms, and develop rapport with my students.
In addition to teaching, I serve as an advisor for the award winning debate team and the yearbook club.
I am a proud graduate of Kean Univerity with a double major in History and Education with a Teacher of Students with Disabilites endorsment.
