Degrees and Certifications:
Miss Paige Brandao
My name is Miss Paige Brandao and I am very excited to have an amazing school year. This is my third year teaching in the Long Branch School District at Amerigo A. Anastasia School. Before joining the Long Branch family I taught at The Shore Center for Students with Autism. I am a proud graduate of Monmouth University where I received a bachelor’s degree in both English and Elementary Education. I also received a Teacher for Students with Disabilities certification and minor in psychology.
Teaching students with special needs, specifically who have been diagnosed on the autism spectrum, has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. The ability to enhance my student's strengths and turn them into talents is truly inspiring. I specialize in differentiating instruction for all levels of learning. In my classroom we do things a little differently, we persevere, make progress, and never give up. We conquer every failure & mistake; and we celebrate every little success. We love hard, we respect, & we accept everything & everyone. We are a family!
When I am not in the classroom I am also working in home, helping parents and families. I spend a lot of my free time at the gym, with my puppy, or surfing at the beach. My goal is to help each and every student become the best that they can be!
